Total Battle glossary: RSS, CP, VP, Might, Crypts, and Citadels

A clear Total Battle glossary defining RSS, CP, VP, Might, Tar, Crypts, Citadels, and the clan terms new players see most often.

In Total Battle, RSS means resources. CP means Conquest Points, VP means Valor Points, and Might summarizes overall account development. This glossary explains those terms and the map targets clan leaders discuss most often.

What does RSS mean in Total Battle?

RSS is common player shorthand for resources, not a separate currency. In clan reports, it usually means the silver, food, iron, stone, and lumber members contribute toward shared needs.

A fair RSS report keeps the five resources separate. One combined total can hide a silver shortage behind a large amount of lumber or food.

What are CP and VP?

CP means Conquest Points. Players earn CP mainly by fighting other players, with additional sources including some events and achievements. CP supports Specialist upgrades and related Academy research.

VP means Valor Points. Players earn VP mainly by fighting monsters, with additional sources including some tournaments, achievements, and Arenas. VP is also used for Academy research.

The practical distinction is simple: CP usually follows player combat, while VP usually follows monster combat. Event rules can add other sources, so check the current event panel before planning a push.

What does Might measure?

Might is a cumulative account-development score. It includes progress from Hero and Captain upgrades, buildings, technologies, and achievement rewards.

Might is useful for comparing broad development over time, but it does not explain where the growth came from or how a player performed in one battle. Clan leaders should pair it with event, chest, RSS, and roster context.

How do Tar and Crypts work together?

Crypts are exploration targets on the Kingdom Map. A Captain carries Tar to explore them and collect resources or materials.

Common Tar is used for common Crypts, rare Tar for rare Crypts, and epic Tar for epic Crypts. Exploration cost and efficiency affect how much Tar a march needs and how much progress it makes.

What is a Citadel?

A Citadel is a monster-held target on the Kingdom Map. It contains several monster types and defensive walls, so it is a combat target rather than an exploration target like a Crypt.

Citadels can reward Valor Points, experience, and clan chests. Cursed and Elven Citadels have different reward paths, which is why clan reports often separate them.

Use one vocabulary in clan reports

Write the full term the first time it appears in a rule or report, then put the abbreviation in parentheses. For example, write Conquest Points (CP) before using CP by itself.

Keep the measurement beside the term. A report should say whether RSS means a weekly contribution window, whether Might means net growth, and whether a Crypt total counts explorations, completions, or resulting clan chests.
